Montagu Brownlow Parker was the fifth Earl of Saltram, as well as a soldier, adventurer and man about town.

‘Monty’, as he was affectionately known, was also a keen photographer and this weekend you can see an impressive display of photos he took at his former home in Saltram’s fantastic Georgian manor house on the outskirts of Plymouth.

The retrospective will display treasured moments from 1911-49.

Witness Conservation in Action

At Trerice Castle near Newquay you can see the National Trust’s expert conservationists hard at work this weekend.

Staff at the property will be showing how they care for the property, its many interior treasures and the grounds and woodlands which surround it.

As dog lovers we recommend visiting Tyntesfield near Bristol this weekend.

The National Trust property has opened its formal gardens to dogs this winter, allowing them to sniff around a beautiful area which is normally off limits.

This weekend marks the last one where it will be open to dogs (and their owners), so why not take this last opportunity to visit?

After a week off, the Six Nations is back this weekend!

The highlight of the weekend has to be the clash between England and Ireland in Dublin, with both sides unbeaten after two games.

Italy and Scotland will both be trying to earn their first win of the campaign when they meet at Murrayfield, while Wales and France will be looking to bounce back from losses last time out when they face each other in Paris. Wales will be particularly keen to get a win on the day before St David’s Day!
