Here at Fur Feather and Fin, we’re preparing for one of the biggest annual events on our shooting calendar – the British Shooting Show! Next weekend from the 15th-17thFebruary, this renowned event will take place at the NEC Birmingham and will welcome both retailers and visitors from across the nation to discover the very latest shooting ranges from some of the industry’s biggest brands. From air rifles, pistols and shotguns to ammunition, clothing and footwear, there’s so much to see at this year’s British Shooting Show. To help you make the most of your visit, we’ve put together a brief guide to what’s on offer to browse throughout the weekend:
Shotguns, Rifles and Airguns
Every year, the British Shooting Show displays a whole host of shotguns, rifles and airguns for a range of shooting disciplines from game shooting and wildfowling to rabbiting and stalking. Not only do visitors have the chance to feast their eyes on the latest products from some of the world’s most renowned gun brands, but the opportunity to meet these manufacturers and find out more about their products is also on offer, meaning you can discover everything there is to know before purchasing. Scopes, Sights, Optics and Lights
Whether you’re an avid game shooter or a keen wildfowler, scopes, sights optics and lights can all help to enhance your shooting ability and are some of the most highly-demanded shooting accessories on offer to gun enthusiasts. Consequently, those attending the British Shooting Show will undoubtedly want to take a look at the extensive range of scopes and sights being exhibited at this year’s British Shooting Show, as well as the latest optics and lights innovations on offer at the event. Industry-leading manufacturers including Nightforce, Schmidt & Bender, Hawke Sport Optics and many more will be on hand to provide helpful information, so be sure to pay them a visit!
Antique, Classic and Historic Guns
As well as the latest innovations in modern gun technology, the British Shooting Show also boasts an exclusive Arms Heritage show, providing the perfect opportunity for avid gun collectors or classic arms connoisseurs to gain a unique insight into the history of guns and add to their collections. As well as discovering more about the development of certain models by talking to one of the many experts on hand at the show, guests can also handle some of the most antique guns still in existence – a rare treat in itself!
Gundogs and Gamekeeping
While there will be an extensive selection of gundog and gamekeeping accessories and equipment on offer to browse at this year’s British Shooting Show, visitors will also be treated to a live Q&A session with renowned gundog trainer Andy Cullen in the Gundog & Gamekeeping arena. As well as giving live demonstrations with his own gundogs and providing an insight into his training experiences over the years, Andy will also be holding a gundog training clinic throughout the weekend where you go to gain valuable advice and tips on how to form a close but successful partnership with your gundog, whatever their breed. Other demonstrations will also be held by Chris Green along with Ralph Skripek on wildfowling and the art of pigeon decoying.
Country Clothing and Footwear
Finally, guests to the British Shooting Show will also have the opportunity to browse at a selection of brand new lines from some of the industry’s leading clothing and footwear retailers – Fur Feather and Fin included! From jackets, gilets and waistcoats to shirts, trousers and breeks, a whole host of both women and men’s country clothing will be available to purchase along with some great accessories and fantastic footwear too!

Note: One Day Advanced tickets can be used on any of the three days.
The British Shooting Show will be open from 9 am until 4 pm on all three days of the show (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). While attending the show, visitors travelling by car can park for free at the NEC carpark, which opens at 8 am and offers access to food and toilet facilities.
